Evaluation, scoring, & weights

The weight of a category (or a specific criterion) is supposed to represent a combination of how important the relevant actions/desiderata currently are and how well our criteria measure them. Weights are set by Zach (following no particular process).

Scoring is done by Zach.

Please suggest more/better evaluations or corrections to scoring.

Categories’ weights are listed here. Weights of evaluations within a category are listed in the “Evaluation” section of that category’s page.

Some sections and criteria have weight zero. This is usually because we know something labs should do and want to track what they say and do on the topic, but we don’t have a good way to measure their performance. (Sometimes it’s because the recommendation isn’t solid enough to score the labs on it.)
